Meet us under the moonlight of 1874…
Join PHA (Vic) for a fun summery opening to this year’s calendar of events. We will start with a toast to the year in the Chandon Nature Bar at 6pm and then be treated to a tour of the exhibition followed by an exclusive Q and A with the Curator, Bec Carland (our very own vice president).
In a reimagining of the museum experience, Melbourne Museum’s flagship summer exhibition has reached out to a younger audience with plenty of unexpected sights and sounds, and none of the usual exhibition text or labels.
Riffing on themes of love, time and immortality, a cheeky narrator takes visitors through a series of offbeat scenes, along the way introducing museum curators and everyday people who share unexpected and passionate stories about the museums incredible collection.
There is a cost of $15 for members and $20 for non-members, which includes your entry to the exhibition, and nibbles following the tour. Drinks are compliments of PHA (Vic). Please arrive promptly at 6pm.
Bookings are essential. To register for this event visit https://phavic.wildapricot.org/event-2799407
Please RSVP by Sunday 4 February
